I’ll Show You… Rocky II (1979)

Welcome to a brand new season of I’ll Show You Mine! This week Elyse is showing James ‘Rocky II’, starring, written, and directed by Sylvester Stallone. Released in 1979, three years after the first ‘Rocky’, it picks up right where the first film left off and tells the story of the rematch between the “Italian Stallion” Rocky Balboa and the heavyweight champion of the world, Apollo Creed.

Join us as we dive back into the world of ‘Rocky’ and talk about the simple charm of main character Rocky, the sweet romance between Rocky and Adrian that matures in this sequel, and marvel at the sheer amount of bodily fluids flying all over the place in this movie about an often brutal sport.
