I’ll Show You… The Secret of NIMH (1982)

Welcome to another episode of I’ll Show You Mine! We’re back to our regular schedule and back to our old tricks as Elyse shows James another Don Bluth film, The Secret of NIMH from 1982. “NIMH” tells the story of a widow mouse, Mrs. Brisby, who enlists the help of a group of intelligent and mysterious rats to move her family out of the farmer’s field in which they live before plowing time, without moving her sick son, Timothy.

Join us as we talk about the beautiful animation in this movie, dive back into that special darkness of Bluth animated films, and talk about what made this movie so memorable to a lot of children of the 80s and 90s.
