I’ll Show You… The Witcher (PC, 2007)

Welcome to another episode of I’ll Show You Mine! This week James is showing Elyse the first game of the Witcher series, “The Witcher” from 2007. Developed by CD Projekt Red and published by Atari for Windows and CD Projekt for Mac, it was based on a series of fantasy books by Andrzej Sapkowski and has gone on to inspire a new Netflix series.

Join us as we talk about the history of CD Projekt, the tiny Polish developer who against all odds made a global smash hit; the dense world of the game and how it sucks you into the narrative despite somewhat clunky gameplay; also James talks about poopsocks.
