I’ll Show You… Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast, 1998)

Welcome to another episode of I'll Show You Mine! This week, James is showing Elyse "Sonic Adventure" for the Sega Dreamcast, released in 1998. It's been 20 whole years since this game came out so we're digging in on that starting line and getting ready to take off!

Some might say this game doesn't "hold up" and we would probably agree with them. But we still have plenty to say about Sonic and the Dreamcast system itself, so join us as we get into the nuts and bolts of what worked and didn't work about this game, how Sonic compares to a franchise like Mario, and what remains charming about the blue hedgehog's wild adventure into three dimensions.

Our next episode will be December 26th, when Elyse shows James "Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas" from 1977.
