I’ll Show You… Kirby Tilt ‘n’ Tumble (GBC, 2001)
Welcome to another episode of I’ll Show You Mine! This time, James is showing Elyse ‘Kirby Tilt ‘n’ Tumble’ for Game Boy Color from 2001. Another entry in the Kirby franchise that doesn’t follow Kirby going on a grand adventure so much as cast Kirby as the main character in a game that uses a new unique mechanic. In this case, it’s an accelerometer inside the cartridge that turns your whole Game Boy Color into the game’s controller.
Join us as we talk about the sensitivities of the accelerometer, the design and personality of Kirby, and how this game differs from some of the more famous entries in the Kirby catalog.
Our theme song is by us! James Sparkman and Elyse Wietstock.
