I’ll Show You… The Polar Express (2004)

Welcome to a new episode of I’ll Show You Mine! It’s time once again for the end of the year Christmas Movie Special, and Elyse is showing James ‘The Polar Express’ from 2004. Based on the children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg, ‘The Polar Express’  tells the story of a boy on the verge of not believing in Santa Claus going on a magical journey on a train to the North Pole.

Join us as we talk about the uncanny valley of the motion capture animation, the illustrations the imagery is based on, and the Being Tom Hanks of it all.
