I’ll Show You… Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984)

Welcome to a new episode of I’ll Show You Mine! This time, Elyse is showing James ‘Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind’ from 1984. Based on the manga by Hayao Miyazaki, ‘Nausicaä’ tells the story of a princess of a post-apocalyptic kingdom who attempts to lead her people to coexist peacefully with giant insects from the nearby toxic jungle.

Join us as we talk about the animation, music, the many video games this story inspired, and the birth of Studio Ghibli!
