I’ll Show You… Overboard (1987)

Welcome to a new episode and a new season of I’ll Show You Mine! We’re kicking things off this time with a little Valentine’s Day romcom, ‘Overboard’ from 1987, starring the iconic couple, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. ‘Overboard’ tells the story of a spoiled, wealthy socialite who loses her memory and is convinced by a down-on-his-luck carpenter that she is his wife and mother to his four rambunctious boys.

Join us as we talk about the creepy premise of this movie, why we think it still works, and consider how it compares to the 2018 “gender-swapped” remake with Anna Faris and Eugenio Derbez.
