I’ll Show You… Super Mario RPG (SNES, 1996)

Welcome to another episode of I’ll Show You Mine! It’s JRPG Thanksgiving time once again and we’re playing ‘Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars’ for the SNES from 1996! A collaboration between Nintendo and Square, ‘Super Mario RPG’ sends Mario and friends on a quest to save everyone’s wishes from a band of sentient weapons.

Join us as we talk about the weird and wonderful union of Nintendo and Square, discuss how well Square captured the ‘Mario’ vibe, and give thanks to this game for spawning the ‘Paper Mario’ and other various Mario RPG franchises.
